Over 120 Years of Heritage

Always at the heart of city centre, together with the citizens, Zaremba company lived the life of great parties and festivities, but also repressions and destruction.

1894

Edward Zaremba opens his own atelier in the building of the Grand Theatre, Warsaw’s prime location.

1922

Adolf Zaremba, Edward’s nephew lefts his uncle’s workshop and started his own business located on Hoża 6.

1927

Adolf Zaremba moves the atelier to Wspólna 36.

1933

Tadeusz Zaremba, Adolf’s younger brother lefts the family business and opens his own workshop on Koszykowa 52.

1945

During the Warsaw Uprising, the bulding where the atelier was located has been destroyed. Just after the War, Tadeusz Zaremba opens new workshop on Al. Jerozolimskie 17.

1956

This year marks the last relocation. The new address is Nowogrodzka 15.

1976

Tadeusz’s son Adam becomes the co-owner of the family run business.

1998

Tadeusz Zaremba dies at age 87 and Adam becomes the standalone owner.

2005

Adam Zaremba dies untimely and the atelier is being run by his wife and son Maciej.

2011

Maciej wins the contest for the project of tie for the Polish Presidency in European Union.

2012

The production department moves to the new address on Widok 16.
